a beautiful two bedroom two hundred year old stone cottage situated on a tiny village square in the hills south of Carcassonne,surrounded by apple orchards,sunflowers and cow fields...flag stoned floors, shuttered windows, comfortable beds, crisp white linen, fluffy towels, south facing stone walled garden with a ‘pick your own’ vegetable patch

Main bedroom

The front door leads to a flag stoned open-planned sitting room and small kitchen, with comfortable sofas, a wood burner and flat screened TV and DVD player. French doors open into your own south facing walled garden with beautiful french iron garden furniture and sun loungers.

Upstairs the main bedroom has an ensuite with dual sinks, bath and separate shower. The comfortable bed is dressed in crisp white linen. Views from the bedroom are of the hills above the village. The second twin bedroom is perfect for children. There is also a second small shower room and loo.

There is the option of having fresh bread and croissants delivered wach morning to your door.

This is a self catering option, however you are welcome to enjoy the facilities of Le

Trésor, next door on the square...DVD library, Wi-Fi, honesty bar with pool table and darts. Table reservations for breakfast and evening meals need to be made the day before.

Terms and Conditions.

  • A 25% non refundable deposit and completed booking form confirms the rental. The remaining amount is payable on arrival when collecting the keys.
  • A security deposit of 100 euros in cash is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents, or extra cleaning costs incurred where the property is left in an unreasonable condition. However the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Clients liability to the Owner. The deposit will be fully refunded upon departure. However in the event of any damage, the owner reserves the right to retain the deposit until the cost of replacement or repair can be assessed. Under these circumstances. Where the damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, the Owner reserves the right to charge the Client for the balance.
  • Accommodation shall be available, and the rental period shall commence on the first day after 5pm and finish on the last day at 11am. As it is necessary for the Owner to clean the accommodation before the arrival of other clients, the Owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.
  • The maximum number to reside in the property must not exceed that stated on the booking form unless the Owner has given written permission.
  • The Client shall be responsible for all his/her personal belongings brought onto the property and garden and for any loss or damage to the same.
